Job Description:

Summary of Position: Set up and operate press brake, edit programs, maintain tooling, assist in training operators, and produce quality parts efficiently.

Essential Functions:
  1. Obtain and apply information from Work Instruction File.
  2. Set up and program using Work Instruction Files.
  3. Set up and operate press brake and computer following setup sheets.
  4. Test and inspect equipment and products per blueprint specifications.
  5. Inspect product for quality and sign off for first piece approval.
  6. Complete required documentation accurately.
  7. Follow policies and procedures.
  8. Prepare products for transfer to the next work cell.
  9. Shut down and store equipment properly.
  10. Record all work activities thoroughly.
  11. Train team members to ensure quality and efficiency.
  12. Maintain and ensure proper upkeep of equipment.
  13. Comply with ISO standards.
Occasional Duties:
  1. Operate related metal fabrication machinery.
  2. Assist supervisors as needed.
  3. Work overtime as required.
  4. Train others once competency is demonstrated.
Experience/Education:

High School diploma or equivalent; 1-3 years in metal fabrication.

Skills:

Ability to read blueprints, work independently, and be team-oriented.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
  • Requires standing, walking, sitting, handling objects, reaching, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, and vision abilities. May need to climb stairs and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Work in a production environment with moderate to high noise levels and exposure to weather conditions for maintenance and receiving roles.
Compensation:

Type: Hourly

Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000

Incentive: No
