Job description

We are actively hiring 14 experienced Press Brake Operators (Level 2) for a growing manufacturing team in Santa Ana, CA. This role is ideal for candidates with recent, hands‑on press brake experience who can work independently and contribute immediately in a fast‑paced production environment.

Important: This is not an entry‑level role. Candidates must have current, relevant experience and be able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.

Schedule
  • 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
  • Overtime: Early start at 4:00 AM, Extended hours, Saturdays as needed
Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend and form metal components
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and job travelers to ensure accurate production
  • Select, align, and secure dies based on specifications
  • Adjust machine settings, pressure, and clearances to meet material requirements
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and measuring tools
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to materials, equipment, or production
  • Maintain accurate job documentation and update production records
  • Coordinate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
  • Load, position, and unload materials manually or with equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Recent experience operating press brake machines is required
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Experience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures)
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing and production processes
  • Strong math skills (basic calculations and measurements)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Requirements
  • Must be able to meet ITAR compliance (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and push up to 60 lbs when needed
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, lifting)
  • Willingness to work overtime, early shifts, and weekends as needed
Preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish (a plus, but not required)
  • Experience with troubleshooting and machine adjustments
  • Familiarity with shop safety and compliance standards
