Job summary

EMIT Technologies seeks a press brake operator for its Sheridan, WY manufacturing facility. You will safely operate the press brake equipment, align parts, monitor output, and support daily production targets while maintaining quality.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in manufacturing or fabrication preferred.
• 1+ years of press brake or similar manufacturing equipment experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Basic knowledge of measurement tools, including calipers, tape measures, and gauges.
• Familiarity with production tracking or ERP/MRP systems, such as OSEON, preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established production procedures.
• Willingness and ability to learn new equipment, processes, and technology.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet production expectations.
• Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.

Specific Role:

Press brake machine operation plays a key role in EMIT's manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for the safe, efficient operation and utilization of assigned press brake equipment while supporting daily production expectations, quality standards, and overall manufacturing flow.

• Little to no prior machine operating experience required; 1+ years of press brake or similar manufacturing equipment experience preferred.

Physical and Safety Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move for the duration of the workday.
• Properly use required PPE at all times.
• Follow all established safety procedures when operating equipment, using tools, and handling materials.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and immediately report unsafe conditions or equipment concerns.
