Job summary

Carvana is seeking Automotive Mechanics with at least 1 year of professional automotive repair experience to join our Tolleson, AZ inspection center as Brake & Tire Technician.

You’ll perform light maintenance including brake and tire work, utilize state-of-the-art tools, and enjoy benefits such as a competitive hourly wage, 2nd shift (Mon–Thu 4pm–3am) with overtime, and perks like 401(k) matching and vehicle purchase discounts.

We're looking for Automotive Mechanics with a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive repair experience to join us at Carvana - the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history and one of the four fastest companies to make the Fortune 500.

As a Brake & Tire Technician, you'll be expected to perform light maintenance or repairs, including changing brakes and tires and performing:

• Technician services, such as routine inspections/maintenance
• Basic mechanical repair for brake pads/calipers/rotors, tire installations, and wheel alignments

Pay Range: $17.00 - $21.00 hourly (based on level of experience)

• Pay: Starting pay for this position is $17/hr.
• Schedule: We are staffing for our 2nd shift at this location. Please keep in mind that all locations are subject to mandatory overtime based on business need.
• Second shift: Mon-Thurs 4pm-3am (4x10 hour shifts) *OT may also be part of the schedule.
• Location: Our inspection center is located at: 600 S 94th Ave Tolleson, AZ 85353

• Brake and Tire Technician (min 1 year professional experience): perform light maintenance or repairs, including changing brakes and tires
• Mid-Level (Mechanical Repair / Build / General) Technician (min 3 years of professional experience): perform light to medium automotive repairs and minimal diagnostics on our vehicles
• Experienced Technician (min 5 years of professional experience): perform extensive repairs and heavy engine work, as well as advanced vehicle diagnostics on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles

General qualifications and requirements

• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools - must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Some positions may be subject to an Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
• An ability to work in a fast-
