Job summary

Les Schwab is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician in Woodland, CA to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, test vehicles, and provide exceptional customer service in accordance with company policies. This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and the willingness to learn on the job.

Pay ranges from $16.50 to $26.45 per hour, with quarterly bonuses, health/dental/vision insurance, a company retirement plan, PTO, and other

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 75 pounds; bending, twisting, kneeling and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Test drive vehicles and operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and replace/calibrate TPMS components.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment; assist other employees as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to qualified staff as necessary.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.; Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience:

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license; excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment; frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Pay and Benefits:
