Job summary

Les Schwab Brake & Alignment Technician position in Washington state focuses on servicing and installing brake, alignment, and suspension components while delivering excellent customer service. The role includes testing, tire work, TPMS calibration, and occasional offsite/road service.

Applicants must have a valid driver's license and be able to lift up to 75 pounds, with a fast-paced environment and teamwork in a busy shop setting. On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering components.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and replace or recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and various hand tools; assist other team members; test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road service; provide excellent customer service and refer customers as needed.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.; Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
