Les Schwab Tire Center in Vermillion, SD is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, suspension, and related components. The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and customer service.

You will test drive vehicles, work with tires, TPMS, batteries, and offsite road service, and participate in a team that supports rapid, reliable repairs. Benefits included after eligibility.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service brake, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering components.
• Test drive vehicles and assist with offsite road services.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and handle TPMS components.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers as necessary.
• Operate service vehicles in accordance with company policies.

Job Description:Brake & Alignment TechnicianBrake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.Primary Responsibilities:Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
