Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Sterling, CO seeks a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake systems, suspensions, and alignments while delivering outstanding customer care. You will install batteries, handle tires, and perform road service as needed, with on-the-job training provided.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; expect lifting and equipment use as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 75 pounds (and up to 35 pounds regularly).

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies; rebalance wheels; replace/rebuild/calibrate TPMS.
• Use equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assist other employees.
• Test drive vehicles and perform offsite/ emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to others when needed.

Job Description

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components
• testing and installing batteries
• dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components
• using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools
• assisting other employees
• test driving vehicles
• operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services
• Provides excellent customer service
• refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary

Experience: Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Pay and Benefits

Pay: $14.85 - $24.50
