Les Schwab Tire Centers in Reno, NV is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake systems, suspensions and alignments, and to assist in tire and TPMS work. The role focuses on safe, quality repairs and strong customer service. On-the-job training is provided and relocation not required.

The position emphasizes teamwork, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and occasional heavy lifting as part of daily duties at multiple locations in the region.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, occasional up to 75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train and power steering parts.
Testing and installing batteries.
Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing/calibrating TPMS components.
Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.

Test driving vehicles.

Job Description:

Brake & Alignment Technician Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components;
testing and installing batteries;
dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components;
using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools;
assisting other employees;
test driving vehicles;
and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.;
Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience:

Pay and Benefits:
