Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking Brake & Alignment Technicians in Pagosa Springs, CO to service brake, alignment and suspension systems, install parts and deliver excellent customer service. You will dismount/mount tires, rebalance wheels, test drive vehicles and support offsite services while adhering to company policies and Code of Conduct.

On-the-job training is available. Eligible candidates have a valid driver's license, strong customer service, and the physical ability to lift up to 75

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components
• testing and installing batteries

• using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools
• assisting other employees

Experience: Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.
