Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components. The role includes testing batteries, tire/wheel work, and recalibrating TPMS. A valid driver’s license and strong customer service are required, with physical duties including regular lifting.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing brake, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.

• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using hand tools and equipment as required.
• Assisting other team members and test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road service.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components
• Testing and installing batteries
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools
• Assisting other employees
• Test driving vehicles
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary
