Job summary

Les Schwab in Washington state is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment and suspension components. You will test drives, use shop equipment, and assist teammates while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role involves lifting and bending as part of a fast-paced environment. Full-time positions include comprehensive benefits and opportunities for on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 lb, occasional up to 75 lb; bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Test batteries and TPMS components; dismount/mount tires and balance wheels.
• Use shop equipment and hand tools; assist other employees; test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road calls.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to other qualified employees.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.; Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Qualifications:

Pay and Benefits:

$16.50 - $28.00
