Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician in Minnesota. The role involves servicing brake systems, suspensions, alignments, and related components, along with test driving vehicles and assisting in offsite calls.

Starting pay is $24.50/hour for experienced technicians, with on-the-job training offered. We emphasize excellent customer service, safety, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts
• Testing and installing batteries
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and recalibrating TPMS components
• Using equipment and tools
• Assisting other employees
• Test driving vehicles
• Operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services
• Providing excellent customer service
• Refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary
