Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Colville, WA is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, test batteries, and handle tire mounting and balancing. You will use automotive tools, provide excellent customer service, and work safely in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills in a rapid pace environment.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing brake, alignment, suspension, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies and rebalancing.
• Using equipment and hand tools and assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles and operating service vehicles for offsite work.
• Providing excellent customer service and referring customers as needed.

Job Description: Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components


• Testing and installing batteries


• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components


• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools


• Assisting other employees


• Test driving vehicles


• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services


• Provides excellent customer service


• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary

Experience

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Qualifications
