Job summary

Les Schwab is hiring a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake, alignment, and suspension systems while delivering exceptional customer care. The role involves handling hydraulic/electric brake components, tires, TPMS, and battery work with on-the-job training provided.

You will dismount/mount tires, rebalance wheels, perform tests, and drive service vehicles for offsite tasks, always prioritizing safety and efficiency. This is a full-time, on-site position with a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Test drive vehicles and operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and replace/recalibrate TPMS components.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.; Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
