Job summary

Les Schwab in Butte, MT is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, ensuring safety and quality on every job.

You will test drive vehicles, rebalance wheels, calibrate TPMS, and assist other techs while delivering outstanding customer service. Training is provided, with opportunities to advance within a busy, customer‑focused shop and benefit from competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; bending, twisting, kneeling and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension and steering components; test drive vehicles.
• Dismount/mount tires, rebalance wheels, and recalibrate TPMS as needed.
• Use hand tools and equipment; assist other technicians; provide offsite and emergency road service.
• Deliver excellent customer service and refer customers to qualified colleagues.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.; Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience:

Qualifications:

Pay and Benefits:

$14.85 - $24.50
