Job summary

Les Schwab in Belgrade, MT is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, test batteries, and assist other technicians.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid driver’s license, deliver strong customer service, and be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds with frequent bending and standing. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering components.
• Testing batteries, dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and recalibrating TPMS components.
• Providing excellent customer service and referring customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Job Description:

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services. Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience:

Pay and Benefits:
