Job description

Come Join Our Team!

We have an excellent opportunity for a female support worker to work alongside our client in St. Austell, Cornwall.

Our client is a lady in her 30s who has complex needs, including an acquired brain injury, partial blindness, neurofibromatosis, some cognitive difficulty, and chronic fatigue. She lives at home with her partner and their dog (who is in guide dog training) and enjoys audiobooks, dog walks on the beach, going out for coffee, and is developing an interest in extreme sports. They are also building a treatment room in the garden for physio and relaxation therapies.

Due to the client’s support needs, the successful candidate will need to be female, have some experience working with complex needs/brain injury, hold a full UK driving licence, be flexible in approach, and work with what the client states she needs support with. The candidate should also possess the softer skills of being a clear communicator with the motivation and ability to engage the client to build a solid, supportive relationship.
