The role offers direct support to adults with brain injuries, helping with daily living activities, personal care, meals, and community engagement while building supportive relationships. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care and hygiene, administering medications per MAP regulations, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma.
• Experience working with intellectually disabled or brain injured adults.
• Ability to drive residence van.
• Must possess a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and maintain a personally owned vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with medical, physical, cognitive, and socioemotional needs in completing daily activities, including personal care, meal prep, cleaning, and leisure.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene as needed, promoting independence and personal growth.
• Administer medications in accordance with MAP regulations and report any significant health, behavioral, or psychiatric concerns.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks and report all maintenance or safety issues to ensure a clean and safe environment.
