Brain Injury Association of Colorado, Inc is hiring a Brain Injury Re-entry Specialist to support individuals with brain injuries transitioning from the legal system in Denver. The role emphasizes identifying symptoms, building reintegration plans, and advocating for clients within Denver’s special courts.

The position features a 35-hour work week with travel across the state, frequent collaboration with court partners, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
• Experience navigating human service, case management, social work, legal systems, or related settings.
• Experience with or willingness to complete small group facilitation.
• Travel to other meetings and events within the state, sometimes after hours and on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Caseload management: 20–25 BI survivors across 1–2 dockets.
• Provide wraparound services to help clients stabilize as they reintegrate.
• Conduct at least 75 BI screenings annually using validated methods.
• Develop at least 75 comprehensive reentry plans annually.
• Coordinate with professionals and families to support symptom plans and referrals.
• Enter case details into Salesforce within 72 hours; participate in professional development 70–110 hours annually.
