Job summary

A rehabilitation support organization in Bristol is seeking compassionate Support Staff to assist individuals with brain injuries in their rehabilitation journey. You will provide emotional and practical support, encourage independence, and work with a team to enhance clients' quality of life. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and experience in healthcare or social work. Reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience or training in healthcare or social work preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with brain injuries is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to clients with brain injuries in daily living activities.
• Assist clients in following personalized rehabilitation plans.
• Facilitate social interactions and community engagement activities.
• Encourage participation in therapeutic exercises.
• Maintain accurate documentation of clients’ progress.
• Act as a liaison between clients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Implement safety measures for behavioral challenges.
• Attend training sessions and workshops for skill enhancement.
