BetterBrain is pioneering a movement to make evidence-based brain health accessible to everyone. Our mission is personal - every team member either carries the APOE4 gene or has watched loved ones struggle with the disease. We've created a holistic solution that empowers people to prevent dementia, think better, and feel better through our proprietary system combining advanced diagnostics, personalized coaching, and cutting-edge technology.

Role Overview:

We're seeking passionate US-based Registered Dietitian Nutritionists who want to be at the forefront of preventive neurology. As a Brain Health Coach, you'll deliver personalized coaching to clients using our industry-leading platform and protocols. You'll help clients implement evidence-based lifestyle modifications that can reduce dementia risk, improve cognitive function, and enhance overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual one-on-one coaching sessions focused on brain health optimization
  • Interpret client biomarker data, cognitive assessments, and other health metrics
  • Develop personalized brain health protocols across multiple domains (nutrition, sleep, exercise, stress management, etc.)
  • Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy services using recognized CPT codes (97802, 97803)
  • Guide clients in implementing practical lifestyle modifications based on their specific risk factors
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive client care
  • Help clients navigate clinical services when needed, including specialist referrals
  • Stay current with the rapidly evolving science of preventive neurology
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our coaching platform and resources

Qualifications:

  • Current RDN credential with active license to practice
  • 2+ years of clinical experience required
  • Experience in insurance billing (especially with Medical Nutrition Therapy CPT codes)
  • Knowledge of cognitive health, neurology, and/or functional medicine preferred
  • Staying current with the latest brain health science, e.g., following thought leaders like Peter Attia, Richard Isaacson, Rhonda Patrick, and Tommy Wood
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex health information into actionable guidance
  • Comfort with telehealth and digital health technologies
  • Passion for preventive health and patient-centered care
  • Experience with lifestyle medicine approaches
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a team

Nice to Have:

  • Ability to independently bill for Medical Nutrition Therapy (i.e., currently contracted with payors)

Why Join BetterBrain:

  • Be part of a mission-driven team tackling one of healthcare's biggest challenges
  • Work with cutting-edge technology that augments your clinical expertise
  • Flexible, remote-first work environment
  • Competitive compensation including base salary, performance incentives, and equity
  • Opportunity to deliver measurable improvements in clients' brain health
  • Join a rapidly growing startup with exceptional traction (15,000+ clients, partnerships with major healthcare institutions)
  • Develop expertise in the emerging field of preventive neurology

At BetterBrain, we're democratizing access to brain health services that were previously available only at elite clinics with multi-year waitlists. Our approach combines the best evidence-based practices with innovative technology to make brain health optimization accessible, personalized, and effective. Join us in our mission to create a world where dementia is considered an orphan disease.
