Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our Brain Health team on a 6-month, part-time basis (20 hours per week).

The role involves translating evidence-based information into engaging educational materials for consumers, community organizations, and other audiences, with flexible scheduling and potential on-site work in Washington, DC. Responsibilities include developing curricula, toolkits, facilitator guides, and evaluation tools; collaborating with subject matter experts;

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in health education, public health, instructional design, or related field.
• Experience developing health education materials for adults.
• Ability to translate technical information into clear, engaging content.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and health literacy.
• Excellent writing, editing, organizational, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop educational materials, curricula, toolkits, facilitator guides, and other resources on brain health and aging.
• Translate scientific evidence into practical, accessible educational content.
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design to materials.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and activities.
• Adapt content for community settings, virtual programs, and self-guided learning.
• Review materials and improve usability, readability, and audience engagement.
• Create facilitator instructions and implementation resources for organizations.
• Support evaluation approaches and feedback tools for programs.
• Ensure content reflects current evidence, health literacy, accessibility, and cultural considerations.
• Provide additional health education and content development support as needed.
