Job summary

UC Irvine's School of Medicine, Department of Neurology, seeks an Assistant Specialist to support the Glover Lab's aging and brain health research. The role covers coordinating multiple grant-funded projects, study design, data collection and analysis, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will help with community engagement, participant recruitment and retention, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, with a one-year full-time appointment and potential renewal.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or five years of experience in psychology, neuroscience, public health, social work, or related social sciences.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Strong organization, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to build rapport with community members, research participants, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate study design and coordinate data collection and analysis across projects.
• Manage regulatory approvals, compliance, and research protocols.
