Job summary

The University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, is seeking a part-time curriculum designer in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences to edit and develop learning materials with a hands-on, lab-based approach. You will plan new curricula with the SEPA development team, build brain-based content from objectives to standards, and emphasize critical thinking through interactive activities.

• Available to work 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Edit and provide extensive feedback to curriculum under development.
• Plan new curriculum in conjunction with SEPA curriculum development team.
• Build curriculum from the ground up including learning objectives and science standards.
• Incorporate hands-on, lab-based activities into lesson plans.
• Emphasize critical thinking through content, research, and analysis in interactive activities.
• Help develop evaluation tools and assessments.
• Attend meetings to discuss progress of curriculum design.
• Submit all drafts and final curricula to the curriculum folder at least three business days before PI review.
• Share photos, bios, and other information about content creators for credit.
• Outline manuscripts for publication.
