Job summary

FLOFORM Countertops is expanding its Bozeman operation and seeks an experienced Countertop Templater / CAD Technician to convert field measurements into precise digital templates and CAD drawings for production.

The role involves traveling to job sites, creating accurate CAD files, and coordinating with Sales, Production and Operations to keep projects on track. This is a full-time, day-shift position in Bozeman, MT with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with countertop templating, CAD, drafting or construction preferred.
• Experience with kitchen and/or bathroom construction or installation.
• Strong blueprint, schematic and measurement skills.
• Strong intermediate math skills.
• Ability to create accurate CAD files from field measurements.
• Excellent attention to detail and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Turn field measurements into accurate digital files ready for production.
• Travel to residential/commercial job sites in Bozeman area.
• Create CAD drawings and digital files for custom countertops and sinks.
• Prepare files for CNC fabrication and production.
• Document sink and cooktop cutouts, radiuses, edges, backsplashes and other specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings and construction specifications.
• Identify problems before fabrication or installation.
• Communicate templating and installation requirements with customers and contractors.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production and Operations to move projects forward.
