Position Type: Part Time

The Kinkaid School is seeking an experienced Adjunct Boys Varsity Tennis Head Coach. This is a part-time, seasonal position for an assignment that begins in late January, 2027 and goes through early May, 2027.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for team selection of Boys Varsity Tennis Team, including logistics, communication, and facilitating tryouts
• Coordinate and runs practice
• Attend scheduled matches, which are mostly weekdays and some Saturdays
• Coordinate challenges and tennis rankings of the team
• Help Program Head with scheduling and directing the assistant coaches, as needed
• Develop student-athletes' tennis skills and strategies
• Model the Teacher-Coach-Mentor philosophy
• Keep and submit lineups and communicate any changes to the team
• Maintain and facilitate communication with student-athletes and parents

Qualifications

• Demonstrated Knowledge of Team and Individual Tennis
• Minimum of 3-5 years of Tennis coaching experience (secondary school)
• Commitment to education-based athletic program
