Churchville-Chili Central School District is seeking a Boys Tennis Coach - Program Assistant for Spring 2027. The role supports all levels of the tennis program, ensuring continuity across varsity, JV and modified teams while assisting practices and contests under the varsity coach and athletic director.

The candidate should hold NYS coaching certification, complete the concussion management course, and demonstrate strong leadership, organization and communication.

Competenze

• New York State coaching certification (link provided).
• Completion of CDC or NFHS Concussion Management Course required.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills with emphasis on academics, sportsmanship, and character development.
• Ability to provide a challenging, first class, positive experience for students, while striving for excellence and teaching lifelong lessons.
• Two years of successful sport-specific modified or higher-level coaching and tennis participation experience preferred.

Description

The program assistant works within all levels of a sport program including varsity, JV, and any modified teams. The program assistant works to ensure that there is continuity throughout the program. This may include, but is not limited to: attending, assisting and conducting practices at all levels; attending and assisting a coach at contests; assuming the role of coach in the absence of any coach in the program as needed; working closely with the varsity coach to develop and monitor goals of the entire program at all levels; and any other tasks as assigned by the varsity coach or athletic director.
