Under the supervision of the Activities Director and building principals, you will help plan practices, supervise players, and promote athletic best practices while modeling positive character. Qualifications

• MN Coaching license or Bachelor’s Degree in sports/fitness-related field
• OR proven knowledge and experience necessary to coach the activity; completion of six quarter college credits (or equivalent)
• OR 60 clock hours of instruction in first aid and the care and prevention of athletic injuries; and completion of a coaching methods or theory course

Responsibilities

• Assist Activities Director with scheduling, transportation and managing equipment for regular season events
• Direct coaching staff; supervise and evaluate assistants
• Teach and model respect for team members, coaches, opponents, officials and fans
• Direct students/athletes; monitor grades and conduct related to team participation and eligibility
• Assist participants in college or advanced educational selection
