Job summary

Chandler USD 80 CASTEEL HIGH SCHOOL - Queen Creek, Arizona is hiring an Athletic Coach for Boys Soccer (JVB). This supplemental position reports to the Athletic Director and requires a valid AZ driver's license, fingerprint clearance, CPR/First Aid/AED, and NFHS coaching certifications.

The role involves planning practices, teaching fundamentals, supervising students, and ensuring safety. Starting date is To Be Determined; salary is a coaching stipend.

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona Driver’s License required.
• Fingerprints clearance (DPS IVP) required.
• CPR/First Aid/AED Certification required.
• NFHS coaching certifications listed above required.
• Additional sport-specific certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct practices to develop individual and team athletic skills.
• Teach sport-specific fundamentals, strategies and rules.
• Promote student-athlete growth, sportsmanship and character.
• Supervise and manage student-athletes during practices and games.
• Prepare teams for competitions and coach during games with professionalism.
• Prioritize athlete safety and follow injury prevention protocols.
• Communicate with students, parents, administrators and staff.
• Assist with program administration, including equipment and records.
• Adhere to district rules and athletic association standards.
