Job summary

Suffield Public Schools is seeking a qualified athletic coach for Suffield Middle School, Fall 2026 start. The role requires CT coaching certification, CPR/First Aid, and a head/neck injury module completion.

You will lead development of middle and high school sport programs with a focus on safety and positive student engagement. Strong collaboration with administrators, staff, parents, and students is essential to effectively direct the Suffield Athletic Program and foster a positive team

Qualifications

• CT Teacher Certification / Five Year Renewable Coaching Permit.
• CPR/AED and Standard First Aid Certificates.
• Module 15 Head and Neck Injuries completed.
• Knowledge and background in the assigned sport.
• Demonstrated ability to engage students positively in sport specific skills and strategies.
• Ability to implement the mission and vision of the Suffield Athletic Program.
