Job summary

Minnetonka Public Schools seeks an Athletics/Activities/Coaching-Lacrosse coach to lead the lacrosse program at Minnetonka High School. The role supports student-athletes through practices, competitions, and program development.

Responsibilities include coordinating events, budgeting, fundraising, and collaborating with the Director of Activities to hire and evaluate assistant coaches. A coaching license or MSHSL alternative program is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the assigned sport and ability to coach effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents and staff.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan, accompany and supervise the team to and from events including practices and competitions.
• Organize and administer coaching activities per district policies.
• Assist with hiring, development and evaluation of assistant coaches.
• Assist with budget requests, spending and fundraising as needed.
• Plan conditioning and weight programs with Pagel Center staff.
• Coordinate practice and game schedules with offices and other coaches.
• Enforce discipline and sportsmanship; manage penalties.
