Job summary

Punahou School in Honolulu, HI seeks an Assistant Coach for the Boys JV Paddling Team. You will assist the head coach with organizing practices, motivating student-athletes, and instructing race strategies and techniques to build a competitive program.

Ideal candidates have coaching experience in interscholastic settings, strong communication and organizational skills, and a proven track record of developing student-athletes within a school environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1 year of leadership experience coaching an interscholastic program.
• Teaching experience and working with adolescents preferred.
• Understanding of athletics value at the middle/high school level.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach with organizing needs of the sport within the Athletic Program.
• Conduct practices, motivate students, and instruct strategies and techniques.
• Support development of student athletes in a positive educational setting.
