Job Description

Boys Basketball Coach (Middle School)

The Advanced Math and Science Academy is seeking qualified applicants for a vacant Winter Basketball coaching position. AMSA (grades 6-12) is a District 2 member of the MIAA and the Colonial Athletic League. The job will consist of helping to lead the school's successful Basketball program and duties will include, but are not limited to: practice planning, athlete development, overseeing and instructing during workouts, coaching the Middle School squad, assisting with the other squads, helping to efficiently oversee the entire program, and helping the Athletic Department staff uphold and instill the AMSA Mission Statement as it pertains to athletics.

Dates: November 30, 2026-March 1, 2027

Compensation: $2725

Bachelor's Degree along with significant playing and coaching experience strongly desired. Previous high school coaching experience preferred. The ability to commit to the time necessary to run an outstanding high school program is essential. Candidates will be subject to CORI/SORI Background checks upon appointment, as well as fingerprinting.
