Portledge School seeks a student-centered Varsity Boys Lacrosse Assistant Coach to support the Head Coach in creating an inclusive, developmentally appropriate environment for athletes with diverse abilities. This is a part-time, seasonal role reporting to the Director of Athletics.
The successful candidate will foster leadership, teamwork and sportsmanship while assisting with planning, practice, game prep and post-game development for the lacrosse program.

Approximately fifty minutes from NYC by train, Portledge is nestled on a pastoral 63-acre tree-lined campus that is known for its cherry blossoms in spring. Portledge School seeks an enthusiastic, student-centeredVarsity Boys Lacrosse Assistant Coach. The successful candidate will support the Head Coach in creating a positive, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate environment that fosters the growth of student-athletes with a wide range of lacrosse abilities and competitive experience. This is a part-time, temporary, seasonal position reporting to the Director of Athletics.
This position is ideal for a coach who is passionate about player development, fostering a love of the game, and helping student-athletes build confidence, leadership, sportsmanship, and teamwork both on and off the field.
The season will start approximately around March 1, 2027 and end approximately around May 30, 2027.
