Trinity School, a co-educational, K-12 institution on Manhattan's Upper West Side, seeks a part-time Boys Assistant Varsity Cross Country Coach for Fall 2025. This seasonal, stipended position runs from August 17 to November 3, 2025, with additional planning and communication required outside of active season. The season includes holidays like Labor Day, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Indigenous People’s Day, and Diwali.

Qualifications include significant experience in competitive running, coaching or participating. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; collegiate running experience is a plus. Candidates should value athletics' role in an independent school, demonstrate strong organizational skills, uphold team values (sportsmanship, character, compassion, integrity), and have experience teaching cross country at intermediate to advanced levels. Ability to manage relationships with athletes, coaches, and parents, and attend practices and meets is essential.

Practices are weekdays, 2:30 to 6:00 PM. Meets occur 8-10 times, mostly starting at 4:00 PM on weekdays, with occasional weekends.
