Job summary

Boyd Corp in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Production Assembler I to produce heat pipe assemblies for internal and external customers using semi-automated equipment under engineering instructions.

As you advance to Production Assembler II you may take on additional skills and responsibilities; all staff follow defined work instructions, complete shop traveler documents, and rotate through stations as production needs require.

• Reads, writes, and understands detailed work instructions and basic math skills.
• Performs repetitive motion activities on a daily basis.
• Completes shop floor traveler documents.

Responsibilities

• A fully qualified Production Assembler II will complete all 17 steps of Production Assembler I plus obtain three Production Assembler II skills.

Job Description SUMMARY

Produces heat pipe assemblies for internal and external customers using semi-automated equipment following proper procedures and techniques administered from engineering department using work instructions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A fully qualified Production Assembler I will complete all 17 steps to engineering standards. A fully qualified Production Assembler II will complete all 17 steps of Production Assembler I plus obtain three Production Assembler II skills. Other duties may be assigned.
