Job summary

Mariani Packing Group in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is seeking a night shift packaging associate to support our family-oriented, values-driven operation. The role involves building and boxing products, inspecting weights, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring food safety and quality throughout the process.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 35 pounds regularly, and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods, walking, climbing, bending, reaching, stooping.
• Must be able to work regularly scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
• Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours a shift.
• Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and work on top of dryers.

Responsibilities

• Constructs boxes, places bags in boxes, and inspects boxes when equipment is not working.
• Checks the weight of each filled box and adjusts quantity of product to meet predetermined product weight on rejected cases.
• Completes any necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Stacks or un-stacks pallets when robot is not working.
• Moves support materials from the warehouse into the bulk room using a scan gun.
• Fills, stacks, moves, or handles materials weighing more than 35 pounds frequently or continuously.
• Knows and follows Company Lock-out/Tag-out, HACCP, and GMP procedures.
• Responsible for food safety
