The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a Boxing Coach at the Ray and Joan Kroc Community Center in Phoenix, AZ. You will support volunteer coaches and help implement sparring and skill practice while ensuring a safe facility. Candidates should have HS diploma, experience in gym/boxing, strong communication, and CPR/First Aid and USA Boxing certification within deadlines.
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Evening/weekend availability required.

The Boxing Coach will provide support to volunteers assisting the boxing program. Boxing Coaches will assist head coaches with practice plans for sparring and skill demonstration sessions. They will also ensure safe use of the facility by enforcing regulations.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to operate telephone, a desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
