Sterling in Hauppauge, NY is hiring a full-time Box Truck Driver/Packer for the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift. Responsibilities include packing, shipping, and transporting orders, operating a forklift, and ensuring accurate deliveries.

Qualifications

• Requires valid NY driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read maps and follow directions.
• Must be a team player with reliable work ethic.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate packing/shipping equipment.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up orders and returns.
• Obey traffic laws and established procedures.
• Load and unload items from vans/trucks.
• Prepare all orders for shipment and ship orders.
• Operate a forklift and shrink wrap boxes and skids.
• Turn in receipts from deliveries and verify contents against papers.
• Report any issues or delays to supervisor.
• Assist with other duties as directed.
