Box Truck Driver (Non-CDL) – Average Pay $22/hour

Planet Aid is seeking reliable box truck drivers for full-time positions with benefits, weekly pay, opportunities for advancement, and consistent hours. Drivers will operate up to a 20-foot box truck collecting donated materials from Planet Aid's collection bins.

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time
• Average pay: $22/hour ($18/hour + weekly production bonus)
• Pay schedule: Weekly
• Schedule: 8-hour days, weekdays only
• Start time: Between 6 and 7 a.m.
• Benefits: Medical, vision, dental, life/AD&D, vacation, sick time, holidays, 401(k)

About The Role

The driver will operate trucks up to 20 feet in size, transporting materials from host locations to Planet Aid's Business Unit. Responsibilities include servicing donation sites, collecting bagged and loose clothes/shoes, maintaining the sites, cleaning, and disposing of unusable items.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe and efficient driving skills
• Comply with Federal, State, and Local laws and guidelines
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with customers
• Service designated donation bins daily
• Empty, clean, and manage rubbish in and around bins
• Report problems or safety concerns to management
• Perform related job functions as needed

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent; experience may substitute
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain DOT Medical Card
• Knowledge of FMCSA Guidelines and communication skills
• Clean driving record accepted by insurance
• At least 2 years of commercial small-truck driving experience
