Job description

Planet Aid is seeking reliable box truck drivers for full-time positions with benefits, weekly pay, advancement opportunities, and consistent hours. Drivers will operate up to a 20-foot box truck collecting donated materials from Planet Aid's Collection bins.

Schedule:

Full-time, 4 days, 10-hour shifts, Tuesday-Friday, starting at 8AM

Pay:

$20/hour plus bonus, paid weekly

About The Role:

The driver will operate trucks up to 20-foot in size, transporting materials from various locations to Planet Aid's facilities. Responsibilities include servicing donation sites, collecting bagged and loose clothing and shoes, maintaining cleanliness, and disposing of unusable items.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate safe and efficient driving skills
• Comply with Federal, State, and Local laws and guidelines
• Provide professional customer service and communication
• Service designated donation bins daily
• Empty bins, clean, and collect rubbish
• Report problems or safety concerns to management
• Perform related job functions as needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (or relevant experience)
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain DOT Medical Card
• Knowledge of FMCSA Guidelines and communication skills
• Clean driving record acceptable by insurance standards
• At least 2 years of experience driving small commercial trucks
