Description

Planet Aid is seeking reliable box truck drivers for full-time positions with benefits, weekly pay, opportunities for advancement, and consistent hours. Drivers will operate up to a 20-foot box truck collecting donated materials from Planet Aid's collection bins.

Job Details

• Schedule: Full-time, 4 days, 10-hour shifts, Tuesday-Friday, start time 8AM
• Pay: $20/hour plus bonus, paid weekly
• Benefits: Health, vision, dental, life, AD&D, 401(k)

About The Role

The driver will operate trucks up to 20-foot box trucks, transport materials from designated sites to Planet Aid's locations, and service donation bins. Responsibilities include collecting items, maintaining site cleanliness, and proper disposal of unusable items.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe and efficient driving skills
• Comply with all applicable laws and guidelines
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally
• Service donation bins daily as per route
• Empty, clean, and dispose of rubbish in and around bins
• Report safety or operational issues to management
• Perform related duties as needed

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to obtain DOT Medical Card
• Knowledge of FMCSA guidelines and communication skills
• Acceptable driving record
• At least 2 years of small-truck driving experience
