Job summary

Planet Aid is seeking a dependable box truck driver to support our donation collection and transport operations in Massachusetts. This role focuses on safely operating a 20 ft box truck, servicing donation bins, loading materials, and delivering to designated sites.

You will work four 10‑hour shifts, including Saturdays, with weekly pay and a bonus program. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required, along with the ability to pass drug screening, background checks, and a DOT

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of box truck or similar driving experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Ability to pass drug screening, background check and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks on local routes.
• Service donation bins and maintain sites.
• Load and transport donated materials to designated locations.
• Follow all safety procedures and driving regulations.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Communicate route, site, or safety concerns promptly.

This role focuses on operating a box truck (up to 20 ft.) to collect and transport donated textiles. You’ll play a key part in ensuring donations are picked up efficiently and delivered safely.

What You’ll Do

Driving / Route Duties

• Safely operate box trucks on assigned local routes
• Service donation bins (collect, clean, and maintain sites)
• Load and transport donated materials to designated locations
• Follow all safety procedures and driving regulations
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
• Communicate any route, site, or safety concerns in a timely manner
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily routes

Schedule: 4 days, 10-hour shifts (Saturdays required)

Pay: $23/hour plus bonus (Average $25/hr with bonus), paid weekly. Stay on bonus after 3 months $1,000.
