Job summary

Planet Aid is hiring for a local driver role operating a box truck to collect and transport donated textiles. You will service donation bins, load materials, and ensure safe, timely deliveries while complying with safety policies and DOT requirements. This position offers weekly pay, benefits, and paid time off.

We value reliability, physical fitness, and the ability to work outdoors on a typical Monday through Friday schedule. A clean driving record and DOT screening are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of box truck driving or similar experience
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass drug screening, background check, and DOT physical
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, loading, and working outdoors

Responsibilities

This role focuses on operating a box truck (up to 20 ft.) to collect and transport donated textiles. You'll play a key part in ensuring donations are picked up efficiently and delivered safely.

What You'll Do

Driving / Route Duties

• Safely operate box trucks on assigned local routes
• Service donation bins (collect, clean, and maintain sites)
• Load and transport donated materials to designated locations
• Follow all safety procedures and driving regulations
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
• Communicate any route, site, or safety concerns in a timely manner
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily routes

Schedule: M-F

Pay: $23/hour plus bonus (Average $25/hr with bonus), paid weekly. Stay on bonus after 3 months $1,000.
