Job summary

Lansing Building Products, LLC is seeking a reliable Non-CDL Driver to support our delivery and warehouse operations in Ashland, VA. You will represent Lansing and deliver outstanding customer service while handling light warehouse duties.

Daily work includes a mix of deliveries and warehouse tasks with opportunities to contribute to inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and inside sales as needed. A clean driving record and forklift experience are required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of driving experience.
• Experience with building products is helpful.

Non-CDL Driver Responsibilities:

• Live the mission statement
• Act as a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service
• Split time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse
• Interact with customers and or crews at job sites
• Provide exceptional service to each Lansing customer…and constantly strive to improve that level of service
• Keep warehouse clean and orderly
• This is a \"get-the-job-done\" kind of position...you may be asked to perform other functions not particularly addressed in this posting, such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

Non-CDL Driver Qualifications:

• NCDL Driver must have a clean driving record
• Have forklift experience
• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger team
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 80 pounds
• Experience with building products is very helpful
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude
• At least one year of driving experience
• Forklift certification

A NCDL Driver's dayusually begins around 7:00 AM-- sometimes earlier --and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)
