Job summary

Lansing Building Products, LLC is seeking a CDL driver to begin deliveries around 7:00 AM, ending ~4:30 PM, with generally no weekend work. The role splits time between deliveries and warehouse tasks, using a moffett forklift and engaging customers at job sites to ensure top-notch service.

Occasional other duties may include inventory, cycle counts, or inside sales. A strong safety record and teamwork are essential for success in this fast-paced, customer-focused role.

Qualifications

• CDL B (or A) license required.
• Clean driving record.
• Moffett forklift experience.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Experience with building products is helpful.
• Strong customer service and high reliability.
• At least one year of driving experience.
• Forklift certification and piggyback truck experience.

Responsibilities

• Split time between delivering and warehouse duties.
• Use a moffett forklift to make deliveries.
• Interact with customers and crews at job sites.
• Provide outstanding service to Lansing customers and strive to improve service.
• Keep the warehouse clean and orderly.
• May perform cycle counts, inventory, or inside sales as needed.

CDL Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)

CDL Driver Responsibilities:

• Lives the mission statement
• Actsas a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service
• Splits time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse
• Uses a moffett forklift to make deliveries
• Interacts with customers and or crews at job sites
• Provides exceptional serviceto each Lansing customer…and constantly strive to improve that level of service
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly
• This is a "get-the-job-done" kind of position...you may be asked to perform other functions notparticularly addressed in this posting, such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

CDL Driver Qualifications:

• CDL B (or A) license is required for this position
• CDL Driver must have a clean driving record
• Have moffett forklift experience
• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger team
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 pounds
• Experience withbuilding productsis very helpful
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude
• At leastoneyear ofdriving experience
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck
