Job summary

Habitat Bucks is seeking a Donation Specialist driver (non-CDL) to support the ReStore program. You will pick up and process donations, drive the ReStore box truck, and help unload and stock merchandise while delivering excellent customer service.

This role requires physical effort and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, typically Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. You will interact with community members, ensure safety guidelines are followed, and coordinate with the dispatcher to update

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up donations using the ReStore box truck.
• Communicate pickup status to customers and the dispatcher.
• Drive the ReStore truck to scheduled locations.
• Load and unload merchandise at stores and showrooms.
• Adhere to donations policy and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Keep warehouse neat during unloading and stocking.
• Move priced items to showroom floor for sale.
• Follow traffic laws and safety practices.

Job description

As part of a dynamic team, you will support all aspects of the ReStore program. The Box truck driver picks up donations, brings them back to the store, unloads them, processes them for sale, and monitors the ReStore Box trucks and reports any needed maintenance or upkeep.

In this role, you will explore various neighborhoods and interact with new people daily. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your leadership skills or collaborate with a team member while safely and efficiently operating the box truck.

Ability to safely lift and position 50 pounds frequently. The job entails constant physical activity, including but not limited to bending, kneeling, standing, walking, squatting, and reaching, often in awkward or tiring positions.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday- 8 am to 4:30 pm
