A leading trucking company is seeking a Full-Time CDL Box Truck Driver in East Hartford, CT. The driver will be responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering materials to various job sites. Candidates must possess a valid CDL license, have a clean driving record, and demonstrate reliability and motivation. Kamco Supply Corp of New England is looking for a Full-Time CDL Box Truck Driver who is hard working, reliable and motivated to join the team. Candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, loading, unloading and delivery of materials to job sites and businesses and providing supervision/direction to team member on the truck with you.
Kamco Supply is a 2nd Generation owned company that started 35 years ago in 1 location in Connecticut. It has grown to 9 branches From Buffalo NY to Cranston RI with a current fleet of 75 trucks of which 35 are boom truck and 3 are 8 story booms and over 500,000sf of warehouse/showroom space.
Job Description Duties and Responsibilities may include:
Education and/or Experience and Qualifications:
•High School diploma or equivalent
•Clean CDL A or B license and medical card
•3 years driving experience
•Participate in mandatory Federally regulated drug and alcohol program
•Clean background check
•Highly motivated with attention to detail
•Problem solving skills
•Ability to do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms
•Ability to work in a variety of weather and environmental conditions, physical demands include walking, climbing, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting and lifting/carrying up to 150lbs on a repetitive bases with another team member
Compensation:
•Full Time hourly position, Monday - Friday occasional Saturday and overtime
•Medical and dental package partially paid by Kamco
