Daniels Health in Baltimore is seeking a customer-focused driver with a Class B license to serve healthcare customers across MD/DC. You will operate a 26 ft box truck, collect sharps and medical waste containers, and provide a high level of customer service.

This full-time role offers a stable schedule, benefits from day one, and opportunities for overtime. The position pays $27.00 per hour with a $3,000 new hire bonus after probation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver throughout MD/DC.
• Operate a 26 ft box truck safely.
• Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships.
• Complete deliveries to schedule and communicate changes clearly.
• Load/unload and organize the truck per schedule needs.
• Comply with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 200lbs with a cart.

What will your job involve?

• Delivering throughout MD/DC
• Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Consistently lifting up to 50lbs!!
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!

What are we looking for?

• Class B license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot box truck
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
